Summary
This is a pilot study to validate ageing of alfonsino using bomb radiocarbon analyses of alfonsino otoliths.
Its main objective is to provide advice to the SIOFA Scientific Committee on the validity of ageing of alfonsino (Beryx splendens) in the SIOFA Area.
