Background
A partnership arrangement has been signed between SIOFA and FiRMS on 21 August 2020.
Objectives:
• To cooperate in the development and maintenance of the Fisheries and Resources Monitoring System
Achievements
• SIOFA participate to the steering committee (FSC) and technical committee, and FAO attend as observer to SIOFA Meetings.
• SIOFA provide information and summary data annually, this data is collated into FiRMS that is published by FAO.
