High Seas Boarding and Inspections

In 2019, the Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement adopted a conservation and management measure for high seas boarding and inspection procedures (CMM 14). The measure entered in force on October 2019. The subsections below provide with information on contact points within each CCP, vessels that are authorized to perform high seas boarding and inspections and authorised inspectors that have been trained and authorized to perform such duties.
