The Compliance Commitee is a subsidiary body of the Meeting of Parties and advise it on compliance matters. The Compliance Commitee meets yearly a few days before the Meeting of the Parties.
CCPs must comply with several measures and obligations which are described in SIOFA CMMs. A summary of submision requirements is provided below:
The MoP adopted a Compliance Monitoring Scheme (CMS) at its 5th meeting in 2018. The CMS is a tool to help CCPs and the Compliance Commitee to assess the compliance level in regards with SIOFA obligations. It is driven by CMM 2020/11. An assessment is made every year and examinated by the Compliance Committee for advising the Meeting of the Parties.
