following the recent adoption of the SIOFA SC Workplan 2024-2028 by MoP11, the SIOFA Scientific Committee is working on defining the Terms of Reference for the following projects:
ORY-2024-01 Orange roughy stock assessment (budget 50,000 €) - running indicatively from September 2024 to April 2025
PAM-2024-01 Development of the SIOFA Precautionary Approach Framework (PAF) (budget 62,500 €, including 12,500 € for an external review) - running indicatively from September 2024 to April 2026
PAM-2024-02 Determination of Biological Reference Points (BRPs) for key SIOFA fish stocks (budget 37,500 €, including 7,500 € for an external review) - running indicatively from September 2024 to April 2026
PAM-2024-03 Development of Harvest Strategies for key SIOFA fish stocks (budget 50,000 €, including 10,000 € for an external review) - running indicatively from September 2024 to April 2026
The respective Terms of Reference for each project, with further indications on the tasks, timing and deliverables, will be available on the SIOFA website (https://siofa.org/jobs-consultancies) indicatively at the end of July/beginning of August 2024.
